形態特徵

• Trunks 5 m or more tall, 6-15 cm in diameter; stipe and rachis somewhat tuberculate; lower side of rachis and rachillae densely covered with very minute irregular scales and with large thin, pale, lanceolate scales, about 5-6 mm long; rachillae and costae pubescent above.
• Fronds tripinnatifid to tripinnate; pinnae about 35 cm long, the lower pairs gradually, reduced; pinnules 5-7 cm long, almost sessile; ultimate segments entire, the margins often inrolled; veins once forked; costules densely covered with bullate scals.
• Sori round, large; indusia cup-like to nearly globose, firm, brown, opening towards margin.

• 世界 : the Philippines and North Borneo.
